The Relevancy of LGJ Community Action Teams
As we come upon 30 years of Leadership, it is fitting that LGJ was, unexpectedly, featured on a segment of WJTV's Consider This on Tuesday, September 22nd. This was the very first B.A.M.! (Be Active Mississippi) Health Fair & Fitness Walk. The success of the walk contributed to its sustainability, which is the main goal of all CAT projects, as an annual event. This year marked the 5th and final year of B.A.M.! being under the auspice of LGJ. Beneta Burt, LGJ alum and Director of MS Roadmap to Health Equity, Inc., has now taken on this charge. We look forward to seeing what she and her staff have planned.
